Awesome,
I’ll need to sort something out.
I’m thinking on using the r8 handbrake callipers.

Re: Toffee delights
I believe Still Static are looking to produce a kit, so may be worth giving them a call.
Only difference is I think their kit has the 4 pot calliper front mounted and the handbrake up at the back. I’ve had to change my rear axle to enable the 4 pot position that I wanted.
I’m told that in order to get the correct handbrake cable angle it’s the Ferrari F430 handbrake callipers that you’ll need (ref ToiletTFSI ). I personally can’t confirm this though as I’m happy enough with how my current setup looks, so haven’t looked any further into it.

Re: Toffee delights
What made you go for a caddy maxi rear axle?

Re: Toffee delights
I haven’t gone for a maxi axle, I’ve fit an early axle as they have a bolted stub axle. I needed the extra fixing points these have for my calliper mount.

Re: Toffee delights
So it begins.......
Interior stripped out ready for when the new wiring goes in; also a good time to tidy up the additional looms that have been added over the last couple of year.
I had pre-wired it so I wouldn’t have to do this, but unfortunately to solve a couple of the start/stop fault codes (my van isn’t start/stop) I need an extra couple of wires so may as well start again. Plus I can now use the correct colour wires I removed from the donor loom.

brooneye hopefully this will be the last time the dash needs to come

Beaker2135 I think it looks worse due to how the additional looms a lying, once everything is in the main loom it shouldn’t look so bad. It was scary removing the trims from the freshly trimmed dash though
Hopefully I won’t annoy people too much with the updates once I start my leave from work.

You won't annoy anyone with updates on this, most will be relieved it's not them.
I for one can't wait.

You won’t annoy me with updates either mate. I think it’s genuinely amazing that people are brave enough to undertake work like this. I know I’m not!
I hope it goes smoothly mate
