Re: A Good Caddy
I have my VW USB hub working, added an extra USB outlet in the ratchet armrest. I now have 2 Android Auto/ Car Play outlets. Its handy but I keep forgetting my phone now when I put it in the armrest.

Re: A Good Caddy
Just bought my first caddy yesterday and joined this forum. First thing I read is this whole build thread and now I’ve had to re-think my budget for improving mine

Hi Gmancan, its a feature you can have in Caddy Life versions. The armrest comes with a USB or a blank cover. Just need the hub, correct cables and some coding.
Hi Phil, welcome to the forum and on owning your 1st Caddy. After you read the rest of the forum member build treads your budget is definitely gonna increase.

Re: A Good Caddy
Hello!
This thread is absolutely brilliant, I have read up to page 25 today whilst pretending to be working in the office.
I’ve had my caddy for 3 years and only just got it lowered last week, my first proper mod (already had some nice bits on) and now I’m hooked.
Thanks for the inspiration!

Thank you Alex, yes that's exactly how I started, looking when I should have been working. Good luck with your caddy, hope to see some progress pictures.

Re: A Good Caddy
I am trying to get my passenger mirror to auto dip when put into reverse gear, I've seen on other forums where they have managed to get this function working even without memory seats installed. So I bought a new passenger mirror motor that has the G516 and G517 potentiometer's for horizontal and vertical adjustment, this motor has 7 wires instead of the 3 wires my old mirror had. Got a set of Passat B7 door control modules also which I know has this feature.

Re: A Good Caddy
Wayne, I will be interested in your opinion and experience of this upgrade compared to the stock 25w bulbs mate.
