Because the floor is lowered it would hit the axle if you do anything like flipping it.
I decided to embrace the arches
and have fitted slightly bigger tyres in a lovely 4 seasons pattern.
Michelin or Goodyear are the best (according to form guides).
The Caddy 1,6 tdi (cayc) have reached a respectable age of 13,5 years and 78000km/48750 miles. So I decided it was time to change the timing belt and water pump.
Even though VW claims that there is no ageing of the timing belt, only milage intervals of 21000km. Seems little bit strange to me.

Caddy Maxi 1.6 TDI -2014. First time VW/Caddy owner, already deep in the rabbit hole
On an unrelated note, I have had reason to remove one of the bottom hoses connected to the intercooler two times during the last two months. Both times it has literally poured engine oil out of the hose/intercooler. 2-3 dl.
Bad turbo? 1,6 TDI (cayc), only 78000km/48750miles. A turbo should last way longer than that, right?
