Caddy all track rear lights

Post by dubtubz »

Has any one got part number for the rhd mk4 caddy all track smoked rear lights for barn doors.
Scrap yards around here in Ireland want ridiculous money for standard mk4 rear lights, getting quotes of €90 a side and some even €100.
Spoke to vw dealers and for standard mk4 rear lamps your looking at around €113 to €116,each side is priced differently.but for small bit more money your getting brand new items with bulb holders included.
All track smoked rear ones are around €15 ish more per side

Lloydautotech sell rear lights new for about £45 a side (from memory). Look him up on eBay (also has a website but can't remember the proper URL) - maybe Google will find it. I've bought stuff before, good quality and he's a nice bloke to deal with (Scott Lloyd)

He only sells caddy and transporter bits (new parts / styling items) plus he builds vans / campers too, he's pretty knowledgeable on the parts side.

Send him a message on eBay or the website, he'll get back to you.

Ok, so his parts are half the price you mentioned above but of course I missed the comment about euros - so customs charges of course would apply in Europe, but if you are in ROI then it seems to be already cheaper than the others you quoted.

Between the ROI and UK there are no customs charges on goods below €150 anyway, unless you are in a different part of Europe.

Where are you based in Ireland? If you're within reasonable driving distance of the border you can use OOHPod to get it delivered to a UK address just over the border, then collect it from the locker. Save you the customs at least. Now, if you're in West Cork that's another matter entirely...

Ah right, may as well be West Cork
Your nearest NI OOHPod is probably Lisnaskea.
