nice day thought i would tackle the job of inlet manifold removal and clean asv valve and egr pipe, given the van is at 140k original injectors,egr and turbo surely it would be very dirty however was very suprised at how clean it actually was compared to some tdi's i have seen

That's pretty clean, I've seen Citroen HDi engines reduce the bore to the thickness of a pencil in the intake tubes at least than 100k. I am surprised at how little there is in there.

Mind you, the Citroen uses eolys fluid injected into the fuel to make the soot sticky so the dpf grabs it, clearly not needed and makes a lot of mess inside the engine itself.
