hi there i have just done a mk 6 golf engine transplant and was wondering i you could get me self study doc for this? everything is in but it wont fire up! thanx

Sorry fella, I still haven't made enough posts to IM yet. The way I found those was just type 'VW SELF STUDY GOLF MK6' or such in to google, lots of pages came up, shouldn't take long to find them. Good luck mate.

thanks ash was great to meet up

for those that dont know 7mths ago i put a mk6 golf engine into my caddy

last wed it finally fired up

very happy

def more work and pain then imagined

i will be posting pics n what was needed to make this work over the nxt couple of weeks

hi doc it was a cr 2.0 tdi 138bhp wid 524 miles on it

toatal upgrade for me as it has aircon plus i have installed the whole wiring loom so now have footwell lights, mk6 wing mirrors with puddle light, new dash, mk6 clocks, a first on here i believe

and more so the list will be big

once it back on the road i will be taking it to the guys at south west in car tech so they can remove the dpf n map it producing an instant 195bhp

is is hard to open the original headlights?

i would like to paint them black also, but i've been told it is allmost impossible to open the lights.
