I had to have a new MK7.5 front bumper made unfortunately.
The first one left a gap between the bumper and wing, the brackets on the bumper were repaired with plastic welds and the build up of the repair was to thick and that's what was causing the gap. It took me 3 days to get the bumper installed and looking right, I sanded the plastic weld repair down and but unfortunately the bumper brackets just weathered away.
I had the new one made from a painted highline bumper and the brackets are in good condition. Just have to get it properly filled, sanded, primed and painted.
New VW OEM gloss black bumper grille for the new bumper, I had the chrome trims, sanded, primed and finished in gloss black.
This is a picture of the temporary bumper.

Hi DW, there is no point having an addiction and not making any use of it

Screen wash level sensor wiring loom installed now. I ran the cables in 5mm flex conduit up behind the coolant bottle and across the engine bay to the spare nipples on the passenger side grommet. The posts in the "How To" part of the forum were a great help as always.

Hi Clk1986, thanks very much, I wouldn't have done any of it without the help of this forum. I am not finished just yet, still a few things left to do.

Nice, going to be some build once you’re done mate.

I could never find a black one, so ended up painting mine, do you have the part number handy?
