Thats the exact same motors as i used on mine so god knows what the issue is with mine. The only difference with mine is that I havent used the modules on the caddy motors, I used the complete unit. Maybe ill have to try putting them back onto my caddy motors and see if that makes a difference. Cheers

Hi biggazvr6, try with the caddy motors, it didn't work for me either with the complete unit. When I used the caddy motors everything worked fine.

@FishermansFriend . How are you ? Have you been enjoying the weather . I’m liking the latest additions the dash box and gauges are mint.is that the MK4 dash top box ? do you have part number .

I’ve been trying to find a set of these gauges but some are showing lit up blue and some are red .ideally red would be preferred do you know if there is specific part no for the red ?

Hi Alex,

All good thanks, hope you and your van are keeping well. Yes its the MK4 dash top box, the part number is 2K5857922B81U. It needs some modification for it to fit but, removing all the plastic brackets and sanding, get yourself a sander. The sides of the box, underside of the box, front of the box, the sides and front of the lid all need sanded.

For the gauges, parts and wiring this is the best thread to read: https://www.caddy2k.com/forum/viewtopic ... occo+gauge

Do you have to sand away more material on the right side to allow it to sit flush with our RHD dash?

I've been on the fence with this mod for a while, just trying to guage the difficulties of making it fit

Hi Ben,

Once you try to test fit it you will see what needs to be sanded/ removed, the underside of the box needs a lot of sanding to allow the box to sit down, the biggest issue is the gap between the dash and the box lid, you want to try reduce this gap so the front of the box gets a good bit of sanding also and I sanded the brackets on the dash also so the box could move forward. Its sanding and test fitting and more sanding and testing and you'll get there in the end, just take your time.

OK, sounds doable 🤞

Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it.

I often find myself looking for information on fitting something, only to find you've just done it 😅
