Well i didn't like the 45mm springs as the van as it spent most of its time lower at the back than the front! went to italy in it and spent for 4nights sleeping it it, all was good other that it looking like it had a ton of stone in the back as we where traveling..

Got these at a really good price as i'm a bit of a test bed for them for Exploria in Brighouse. they are there budget range so we'll see what they are like.


So far i'm really pleased with them. this is before i lifted it up a bit and without driving it..


Here is as its sitting at the mo after about 500miles, the fronts have about 50mm left to turn down on the coilover.

Its still on the same hole at the back as before so could go another 3 holes at the back to its lowest setting and more at the front if needed.

Also fitted a set of KW shocks to the back, all new brakes and a centre armrest.

Your not wrong, done a few weeks now and almost 5k miles and the front is now way too low!! Tyres are inline with bottom of wheel arch and I keep parking my front bumper on curbs in car parks.. Needs to lift up a little and maybe go down 1 at the back.

Don't suppose you know where I could get a set of those GT alloys?

I've been searching every where for a decent set but they seem to be quite rare.

Sold mine on eBay for £350ish with done tyres, keep looking on eBay and don't be afraid to travel if you really want some.

PhotoPete I don't suppose you have the dimensions of the bed? I am wanting to buy a Exploria bed but have been told it wont fit my Caddy Maxi because I have these side storage compartments which are about 59-60cm tall, although I'm not so sure. The existing floor fixings in the van are still all accessible. If I can find the width and length of the bed then I can measure up to double check. I could even order/make some longer legs if needed.

If you could help me out that would be ace!
